Who is WorkSafe for?
WorkSafe® supports organisations whose operations feature potentially hazardous work activities – from oil & gas exploration and production installations to refineries, chemical processing plants and power generation plants.
Key users are typically:
- Facility Managers – responsible for the overall safety of the operations and maintenance work.
- Area Authorities - responsible for operational safety and maintenance work at a specific part of the facility.
- Issuing Authorities - responsible for the issuing of Permits to Work for maintenance work.
- Performing Authorities - responsible for carrying out maintenance work.
- Isolating Authorities - responsible for isolation of energy sources and system inventory for carrying out maintenance work.

Other than system administrators, users don't need to possess WorkSafe® expertise. The system has a simple interface, with on-screen support informing users what their options are at any point in the process. Only relevant options are presented.
The system is quick, so no time is lost waiting for approvals, system updates, refreshes, printing and other ancillary supports.
Multi-language Workforces

WorkSafe® allows users to switch between languages by simply clicking on the relevant country flag. Printed outputs such as risk assessments, permits and certificates can be produced in any of the available languages.
Visibility and Planning of Work Safely
Upcoming and active work is visible to everyone at all times to avoid potentially conflicting work. WorkSafe® has a graphical planner, sometimes referred to as a ‘dashboard’. It means anyone with access to the system can see where work is being carried out simply by checking the icons on the facility map.
